What are cast plaques / cast medals?
Cast plaques and medals are made in a specialized foundry in which hot molten metal is poured into specially designed molds to create beautiful, timeless works of art. The permanence of cast bronze or aluminum, combined with design versatility, make cast plaques an excellent choice for signage, memorials, and recognition projects. The ageold art of sand casting naturally features the attributes of the metal and conveys a sense of quality and tradition. Our cast plaques are made of either aluminum or bronze whereas our medals are usually spin-cast in zinc.
What are tooled plaques?
A more contemporary innovation in the art of plaque production, precision tooled plaques are created using advanced machinery that allows for intricate detailing of logos and lettering. When compared to cast plaques, the features of a tooled plaque will appear more crisp, clean, and readable. Tooled plaques are available in several metal materials including aluminum, bronze, brass, and even stainless steel. We offer an array of finishes to create detailed, raised designs that can be installed indoors or outdoors to ensure an enduring commemoration.
How do I place an order?

We’ll collaborate in whatever way is convenient for you; either by phone or email. We’re also available to meet our customers in the Middle Tennessee area in person as needed.
Can I use my own artwork or logo?
Yes, absolutely. We’ll have a look at your artwork when we’re creating your initial design. If it needs to be improved or vectorized, we can handle that for you. Or if a design needs to be created from scratch, we can do that too!
How long will it take to receive my order?
Depending on the size and complexity of your order, it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. Particularly when it comes to medals, we can offer design suggestions that can significantly shorten the turnaround time if needed.
Is there a way to expedite my order?
Yes, in most cases we can offer expedited service to help meet your deadline, for an additional fee. However, we generally can avoid this by working with your dedication date in mind from the outset.
What forms of payment do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards as well as check, ACH, or Apple Pay. We do not charge additional fees to accept any form of payment.
How do I install my plaque?
We’ll consider how and where you will use your plaque during the initial design discussion, so that we can ensure your plaque arrives with the correct hardware for your application. We can also provide a helpful full-size mounting template to assist in perfect placement of any mounting holes that may be required.
How do I maintain the beauty of my plaque or award?
Our plaques are all coated with either specialized paint or a clear coat to protect the metal. You may routinely clean your plaque with a soft cloth and warm, soapy (dish washing liquid) water to preserve this coating. Avoid harsh or solvent-based cleaners as they could damage the coating. When in doubt, reach out to us anytime and we will gladly provide guidance.
How long should I expect my product to last?

We take great pride in the quality of our work and the permanence our plaques, medals, and awards provide for our customers. The appearance, durability, and lasting quality of your order is of utmost importance to us. Should any of our products fade, break, or contain any defect, we will refinish or replace it free of charge.
